The Northern Indiana Workforce Invest- ment Board, Inc. (NIWB) is one of several regional boards in Indiana that brings together business, organized labor, education, economic development, government, and community-based organizations to provide quality leader- ship for developing a skilled workforce in northern Indiana. NIWB addresses work- force issues in the five counties that com- pose Northern Indiana.

In addition to the WorkOne centers in northern Indiana, the board also supports programs, workshops, seminars, and research on regional workforce issues.
