The National Farmworkers Jobs Program (NFJP) for Youth is a career readiness program designed for youth aged 14-18 years old.

The NFJP, funded by the US DOL, is available nationwide. Our very own community partner, Proteus, runs this program in Iowa, Indiana, and Nebraska. Proteus representatives can be found at our South Bend offices, as well as able to travel to other offices in our region.
The NFJP helps farmworkers and their families by offering educational help, short-term certification programs, job training, and career placements. This program covers costs related to career training programs, including tuition, books, tools, equipment, and stipends for attending classes.
