Proteus’s Farmworker Youth Leadership Development (FYLD) training brought together students from across Northern Indiana for a day of growth, empowerment, and leadership development.
From a warm welcome by CEO Daniel Zinnel, EdD, and Ivy Tech Chancellor Patrick Englert, to hands-on workshops and powerful presentations, the day was filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and lead.
Highlights included:
Learning the history and resilience of farmworkers.
Exploring leadership rooted in values and authenticity.
Financial empowerment tools from Old National Bank.
Resume writing support from WorkOne Northern Indiana.
A public speaking showcase where students found their voice and confidence.
Every student left with new skills, a stronger sense of community, and the inspiration to continue building their future.
