Announcement: Funding to expand Workforce Training and Apprenticeship Opportunities
On Thursday, 10.22.2026, Governor Mike Braun announced nearly $19 million in federal funding to expand workforce training and apprenticeship opportunities across Indiana. These new grants support four job initiatives focused on:
Registered apprenticeships
Special education teacher preparation
Reentry employment
Industry-driven skills training
This will help more Hoosiers prepare for in-demand careers while supporting Indiana employers' workforce needs.
