wenty-first Century Scholars began in 1990 as Indiana's way of raising the educational aspirations of low- and
moderate-income families. The program aims to ensure that all Indiana families can afford a college education for their children.
Students can receive a scholarship at any par-
ticipating college or university in Indiana equal to the cost of four years of college tuition at Indiana's public post-secondary institutions by:
ELIGIBILITY—Meeting eligibility guidelines and application deadlines;
PLEDGING EXCELLENCE—Maintaining a pledge to academic excellence and good citizenship; and
AVOIDING DRUGS—Avoiding drug and alcohol use.
