EXTENDED UNEMPLOYMENT Compensation ORIENTATION in PLYMOUTH

Location:  WorkOne Marshall County, Pine Creek Plaza, 2852 Miller Drive, PLYMOUTH, Indiana  46563
 plan for each individual to regain employment serves as the foundation of the federal Emergency Unemployment Com- pensation (EUC) program, and this workshop provides details about the overall effort.  This orientation workshop is open to individuals who received a letter inviting them to attend.
   

KEY TOPICS DURING ORIENTATION

    Review of EUC program and reporting requirements;
    WorkOne services orientation;
    Labor Market Information, such as:
   
    O*Net;
    Indiana Career Connect;
    Available local jobs; and
    Potential On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities.
    Indiana Career Exploration (ICE);
   
    Enter own information;
    Informative overview of what the ICE results tell a person about themselves.
    Sign-up for free, WorkOne workshops to build skills; and
    Receive EUC Requirement Form.
   


   IMPORTANT NOTE:  After a customer has received all this infor- mation, each individual Hoosier is required to report their weekly job searches to a WorkOne staff member via the U.S. Postal mail, in-person or email.  These weekly logs will be reviewed by staff members with expertise in the EUC program to ensure the customer remains eligible to receive weekly EUC benefits.   
   


   ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP:  Individuals who received an invitation letter to this EXTENDED UNEMPLOYMENT COMPEN-SATION Orientation are welcome.  If you have not received an invitation, this workshop is not designed for you.
