Job seekers should know how to complete a job application as well as how to write an effective resume, manage your time and responsibilities, practice beforehand for a face-to-face interview with an employer, answer interview questions in an effective way that reflects well on you as the candidate (such as making eye contact with the employer's representative and giving a short summary of your key skills), and followup with the employer in a courteous and professional manner.

Just like your resume to a potential employer, all content in a job ap- plication should be accurate and adhere to correct spelling and grammar, even for the necessary phrases and incomplete sentences most people use in job apps.
