A key soft skill — one that every Hoosier should strengthen — is the ability to work as part of a team, and to do so one needs to communicate well with team members and the team leader.

Employers throughout Northern Indiana need their workers to practice soft skills so that the organization can run effectively and so that each worker can be efficient and productive. A key to understanding them is to recognize that your practice of soft-skills is important for your job as well as the jobs of your co-workers.

WorkOne's trainer will help parti- cipants identify their own hard- and soft-skills; moreover, the instructor will offer concrete tactics for individuals to communicate their skills to a potential employer — a key step.

The instructor will have lots of down-to-earth tips on how to use soft skills in a job. And remember: You can and should use soft-skills in searching for a job. So if you'd like to learn more with an eye toward improving your soft-skills, this is the workshop for you.
