ob Connections provides Northern Indiana residents with a direct route to numerous WorkOne services, all of which — at no charge to Hoosiers — aim to help you land a rewarding job.
  For instance, WorkOne’s services include:  
   Instructor-led workshops in a classroom to help boost your technical skills (such as com-puters, math and writing) and your “soft skills” (such as communication and teamwork);


  
   Online, self-paced training to strengthen your skills in areas that employers say are important when they’re hiring;


  
   One-to-one chats with WorkOne employ-ment specialists on a direction for you;


  
   Testing and evaluation of where your skills stand in order to map out a road to employ-ment for you;


  
   Screenings of your credentials by WorkOne specialists for open jobs;


  
   An On-the-Job Training program in coop-eration with Northern Indiana employers; and


  
   Computers with the software and Internet connections to conduct job searches as well as skills training.
