any jobs in Northern Indiana today and in the future will involve work on a computer, and nearly all job-search and -training activities firmly rely on computers. In This Light Therefore, Internet-based e-Learning activities can be extra beneficial because participants can improve their computer skills AND abilities to handle the subject matter at hand, such as basic workplace math or personal finance. Moreover, e-Learning covers many additional key skills and abilities for finding employment and keeping a job.

HOOSIERS CAN BOOST   KEY SKILLS VIA e-LEARNING These additional areas where individuals can boost their skills include:  writing and grammar;  time-management;  using a computer;  using computer software programs;  communication; and  soft-skills such as being on-time and working as part of a team. ENROLLMENT IN PROGRAM SERVICES IS REQUIRED BEFORE EVENT        This workshop is free, although to attend a Hoosier must be enrolled in WorkOne's program services before the event.
