ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PROGRAM REIMBURSES
Employers Up To 50% for New Hire Training
WorkOne recognizes that, in many cases, the best provider of training is the company itself. To assist employers in providing this training, WorkOne has an "On-the-Job" Training Scholarship program to help offset expenses incurred by employers for training newly hired indiviudals. This program reimburses an employer up to 50 percent of the newly hired person's wages for a pre-determined training period.

For employers and hiring managers, under- standing the skills required in an occupation or specific job is among the initial steps in hiring the right applicant, or in upgrading an employee's skills. In this light, WorkOne can help qualifying employers access the WorkKeys job-profiling and assessment system to accomplish this task.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
for Workforce Development
Companies can enhance their workforce by providing training in basic adult education and workplace topics, literacy, and GED preparation and testing. Education and training programs are available onsite either at WorkOne or at our educational providers. Additionally, certain employers may qualify for training grant opportunities.
EARN TAX CREDITS FOR HIRING
Workers Transitioning from Welfare
In hiring individuals who are proceeding from welfare to self-sufficiency, employers may be eligible for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and Welfare to Work programs. For information on eligibility and applications, go to tax credits.
