orkOne of Northern Indiana has joined WorkOne centers statewide in offering a 16-week pre-apprenticeship training program whose aim is to develop workers for road construction companies and other firms involved in outdoor building activities, such as excavation and demolition. Gov. Mitch Daniels and Juan Manigault, president and CEO of Workforce Development Group, Inc., which operates WorkOne of Northern Indiana, unveiled the program during a news conference at WorkOne in South Bend.
